Tonight we had a nice Christmas dinner with my best friend and his family, then we headed back home to continue our challenge. Tonight's game of choice was TransAmerica.

Transamerica is a nice little train game that is great for the family. I rate it a 7 and this is our 22nd recorded play on BGG.

The first round appeared to be a problem for me as I was scattered across the 4 corners of the map. I got fortunate, however, when the family did most of the work for me and I was able to connect to their network and win the round. Melissa was 3 tracks from winning and both of the kids were 4 away.

The second round saw Melissa claim the win. I was only one connection away so I kept the overall lead. Son had a bad round and was only 2 points from elimination while daughter was only marginally better.

The final round saw a pretty good set of cards for me and I was quickly able to connect all of my cities. Son was more than two connections away so that ended the game.

Final Score: Larry 12, Melissa 5, Daughter 2, Son 0.
