Web Design: Made some good progress this week on the general layout design, even though designing the actual "look" of sites isn't my strong suit. I'm pretty pleased with it so far:

I'm trying to keep the majority of the site's look done in CSS only so that it'll be as responsive as possible. So far the only images are the die, the background texture and of course the photo in the center.

I've already begun to work on the actual function of the site, though that's by far the more intensive part of the programming. I'll be sure to post updates via this blog as I finish the individual features.

Nightfall: NF6 playtesting is coming along very well. One of the new playtest teams has really been on the ball with quick, excellent playtest reports. I'm hoping to have part of my group over today for some testing, otherwise I'll be stuck testing as me vs myself again.

Christmas: This was a very busy week for me, not only due to Christmas, but because I had to work 12 hour graveyard shifts in addition to the holiday... Averaging 5 hours of sleep is not enough for me, so yesterday I took my first day off to catch up on my rest. Gift exchanges were quite successful though, including a couple of games!

Mouse Guard Roleplaying Game Box Set has been very high on my want list for a while now, so was pretty stoked to receive a copy from my mom and uncle-dad. I've already read the rulebook once, but it's a lot to take in, especially since it'll be my first RPG. I've found someone at a local FLGS that I hope will be able to teach it to me in the near future and then I plan to run campaigns for my family. I really think both of my daughters will enjoy it.

Bezzerwizzer was also gifted to me and I got a chance to try it out last night. Trivia games really aren't my thing, especially when the answers are more niche knowledge that make gaining points more about the luck of the draw. I can see how this game would be fun with those who know a lot of random stuff, but it fell pretty flat for my group.

I also find it a bit funny that I received enough various candies from my family to fill an entire medium sized card board box... apparently I'm known as a bit of a sugar junkie.

Yeah, few different ones actually. There's the tiny triangles on the bottom left of each button, the large fold on button 2nd from top and the buttons also gain small folds on hover.
