Bobby's Games

I will be posting monthly recaps of my gaming which I have been doing in GeekLists. I'll also be commenting on games on occasion, though I can tell you that I will be behind the curve because I just don't get to play the new games as soon as some people do.

Last week there was no GotW because of the holiday weekend.

Two weeks ago we managed to get in two games of Tanto Cuore, without using the Romantic Vacation expansion. Michael, Nico and I explained the game to Ben, who went and proved that he was the King of the Maids, twice. Since he and Nico work in the same office, maybe I should try and talk Nico into making a sign which says that and putting it on Ben's cube?

This week I am going with a game that has been played this year, though not since March. The reason I am choosing Fresco is I hope to get some of the expansions played. I have the big box expansions, The Scrolls from Essen a couple of years ago, and the The Bishop's Favor which I recently bought from the BGG store and I haven't played with any of them.

Just about anyone I would play this with at the store has played Fresco, so adding the expansions shouldn't be a problem. The question is, do I add them all or just some of them? I couldn't see playing the game without the "expansions" which came with the game, but would adding all the others be too much?

Here's hoping that everyone had a terrific Christmas and that you will have a safe, and happy New Year.
