Bobby's Games

I will be posting monthly recaps of my gaming which I have been doing in GeekLists. I'll also be commenting on games on occasion, though I can tell you that I will be behind the curve because I just don't get to play the new games as soon as some people do.

Finca is about taking fruit to market. Playing games is about taking games to where others are and playing them together. If I wanted to play Finca, then I should have taken it with me to play, right? Well, I failed that simple test, so it wasn't played. I'll bring it along this week with...

Risk Express will be the game of the week this time. The store is hosting a Magic pre-release this week so there will be no room for board games. So some of us will meet at Michael's to play a few games.

Risk Express is a simple, yet fun portable dice game based on Risk by Reiner Knizia. The game description for it has a good explanation of how to play.

The one issue I have with the game, is it can sometimes drag when the die rolls aren't kind, but it is only an occasional problem. Luckily, I didn't have one of those games the first few times I played it.

Let's hope that one, or both of these games gets played.
