Holy cow, the month is almost over. I better get moving! I guess that means it is snowspeeder time. Here is what I am up against. This is an image of all the components of one snowspeeder model. I've included the penny for size reference.
No problem. I've done much more complex models than this one....
er, what? Did I hear that correct? The game calls for 8 of these suckers?! Sigh...
Cutting these out is a lot harder than the other models. They were more "boxy." These pieces have more angles, nooks, and crannies. It's harder to get into "assembly-line" mode with this. But, there's nothing to be done about it except just get the knife to paper.
Since the month is almost over and I had originally planned on making up some of the mechs for the game Armor Grid: Mech Attack!, I figured it was time to also start printing some stuff off for it. As I was thinking about the game, I went to their website and what did I discover but a new expansion!! How awesome. My one complaint about the models in the game was that they were all kind of "samey." This expansion deals with this, giving 3 different head, torso, and leg combinations. It looks like they have made other improvements on the design as well, so I immediately bought and downloaded it.
There is no way I am going to print off everything, that is 74 pages, so for now I am going to stick with one color scheme and expand out from there. Their new set included a Green and Tan combination color scheme that I think is really sharp, so that is where I am starting. 10 pages for all the various part combinations.
Okay, time to get to work.
