Awesome, thanks for posting these Aldie and Scott for reporting! What are the smaller square tiles in Escape for?

From the description on the Edo game page:

Quote:
Some rooms contain treasure, and when you reveal such a room, you place a face-down treasure chest on the tile. Roll the symbols on that chest tile, and you claim the treasure for use later: a key lets you teleport anywhere, a path lets you connect two rooms that otherwise have no door between them, and a medic kit heals all players instantly (putting black dice back into play).

Queen's Frank Thyben gave me a thorough game preview at BGG.CON, and that's what I learned at the time. Perhaps details have changed in the past three months, but if not, now you know...

I hate to be a broken record (okay, I don't hate it that much) but:

Was the Samarkand Expansion at Nurnburg?

I wasn't at the fair, but I don't think it was as I've received sell sheets from Queen for what's coming through the first half of 2012 and the Samarkand Expansion wasn't included.

Escape looks very exciting and fun, but I'm wondering how it will hold up in multiple plays. Can't wait to try that one out.

Yes, this wasn't on my radar at all; instantly on the top of my wishlist now!

Anyone get a feel for how it plays with different player counts?
