My scheme for the 3D board is making individual 4 inch hexes cut on a table saw with a jig to replace the existing board and terrain tiles. To date I have 200 blanks cut, and 100 hexes. By my count I need a total of 145 to replace the original board and 90 or so to replace the terrain overlay tiles. Since the board will be individual tiles the new terrain tiles will replace the plain tile to create a completely flat (except the 3D aspect) playing surface.

Started basing the figures and priming them. I am taking them in units to paint. I am currently debating how to handle the painting schemes as there are discrepancies with the card images, book information and other FFG product images. I will more than likely paint the units as per the card image to lessen the confusion. An example of this is the Mormont shield maidens. They are shown with bluish clothing while other images show them in green.

I look forward to pictures. I assume you've checked out the 3D catan hexes with some detail...
