At Gen Con in 2010 I played this game, and I thought it would be a game my wife would enjoy. Unfortunately, on Saturday when my wife came to Gen Con they did not have the came set up to demo anymore. However, I kept the game in mind and a couple of months later I traded for the game. So was I right was this a good game for us to get or not?

Game Overview
This is a pick up and deliver game for two players. To set up the game, players put five planets in order and put five goods at each planet. Each planet has a good that needs to be delivered to it. Each good card is worth two or three points. On a player's turn they will roll a six sided die to move. It takes one to move from orbit to a planet. If a ship is moving towards the sun, it only takes one move to go from orbit to to orbit . If a player is moving away from the sun then it will take two moves to go from orbit to orbit. In addition to moving, on a player's turn they can do two planetary actions. The actions are pick up goods, deliver goods, and upgrade a ship. For each Cargo compartment a player has they can pick up a good. To deliver a good, the player must move to the planet that matches the good type, move down to the planet, and deliver it. The player will get points for the delivered good. Each good card is double sided, so after it is delivered it is flipped over. If multiple cards are delivered and they match when flipped over, they are removed. To upgrade a ship, a player spends one point for each upgrade they already have. These upgrades allow a player to do things like move faster, carry extra goods, or deliver goods from orbit. There are also cards that players can use for special abilities or to mess with other players. The game ends when one of the players scores 70 points.

The Game We Played
My wife went first, and after making her first delivery upgraded her ship with fusion drives so she could move faster. I tried to do the same and also add an additional cargo bay. However, it did not work for me at all. My wife was making deliveries really well, and I did not. She pulled away and at one point had 35 points while I had 8. I eventually started to catch up, but a lot of the goods delivered got eliminated because they matched good types when flipped. This meant that It would have been all but impossible for me to catch up. The game ended with my wife having a dominate victory of 70 to 43.

Our Thoughts
My Rating: 3 (It's ok)
My Thoughts: This is a good 2 player only game. However, it does feel like once a player gets ahead they tend to stay ahead.

Her Rating: 3 (It's OK)
Her Thoughts: I like that it is short for a pick up and deliver game, but I wonder if there is a first player advantage.

Verdict
Combined Rating: 6

While neither one of us dislike this game, it is also not one of our favorites. However, it is the only quick pick up and deliver game we have that is really well suited for just two. That is a niche that we like having filled. So unless we find another quick, two player focused pick up and deliver game that we like better, then this will be a game we will be keeping.
