Wifey surprised me with a trip to Barnes and Noble on Date Night where I picked up a copy of Space Hulk: Death Angel. I wasn't sure about , but hey it was on sale.
After a quick read through the rules, I realized that whoever wrote these rules didn't know how to organize a rule book. TO YOUTUBE!!! After a few videos, I picked up the general idea and structure of the game enough that the rules started to make sense.
OK, that problem out of the way, I set-up a solo game and played through to the end. There were times I thought I was gone and others that felt like I had this in the bag. In the end, I lost at the final location with just two Genestealers left. Bad dice rolls brought me down.
It was a fun little game that I can see would be a lot more fun with more people. As a solo game it was missing some of the things that might add a little more tension to the game as you can coordinate your move with ease when you are the only player. I will probably play a few more solo games but I see this as a quick 2-3 player game with my group.
