Piepmatz is a young child's memory-discovery-sound game with a story of its own. Originally invented in 1981 with the working name of Mouse In the House, it was first licensed to Western Publishing (who turned it into Donald Duck's Bubble Gum Machine Game ), then on to Milton Bradley France (as Pif et Hercule), then to Playtoy Canada (as a very scary Mouse In The House/Souris Dans La Maison) and finally to FXSchmid Germany, where this Matz (a little bird) and its Piep sound won the coveted award: Deutscher Kinderspiel Preis 1995. Today it is manufactured by Alga/Brio in Sweden (under the name of Katten Mjauu) and will soon appear in the Eastern European countries as well. This charming game's passport rivals that of an international diplomat!
