Description Edit | History

A fantasy-based game, using cards to create an underground lair that players explore -– cooperatively or competitively -- using bands of characters, in an attempt to leave with the highest score (monsters defeated and treasure). Gaming decisions are relatively limited, but the fascination of the game lies in the changing setup and the 'story' that is created on each occasion.

The game shares its basic mechanics with Mystic Wood by the same author.

Copyright Issues

The designer has asked that the rules NOT be made available online, for the reasons below:

"The rules of my games are my intellectual property and remain under copyright in my name. Without getting into a legal discussion, let me just say that any publication of the rules for free distribution is bound to weaken my rights in my IP. I realize other designers and publishers may have different policies and very good reasons for adopting those policies, but this is mine, and it will remain so. I do thank Scott & co. for respecting my wishes here.

On the other hand, I don't care about private distribution, any more than as a book author I care about people photocopying a few pages for personal use."

The latter paragraph does mean you could ask someone to send you a copy.
