From the Fantasy Flight Games Website:
"Explore the uncharted islands of the world of Runebound and piece together the lost map to the fabled Island of Dread! By sea or land adventure awaits all brave heroes, whether they swing swords or cast spells.
This is the first full-size expansion for the Runebound fantasy adventure board game. Island of Dread features a gorgeous new board overlay that creates a completely new game environment. The expansion set also features 110 new cards, including new characters, encounters, challenges, events and equipment.
The expansion also presents new rules for ships that characters can hire to transport them among the scattered islands of the dangerous seas in their quest to find the Island of Dread and win the game. Not all ships are created equal, however, and you get what you pay for: The Vulgar Princess and her crew might come cheap, but they might also seize all your loot and dump you overboard."
Runebound: Island of Dread is the first Big Box Expansion for Runebound (Second Edition). It replaces some elements of the original game - including the map and playable characters - to provide a new and different gaming experience.
You must own the Runebound basic game to play this expansion.
These standard Runebound sized cards replace the tokens in the game for Legendary Items. All item functions are now on the cards so you don't have to remember or look up what they do. There are also alternative versions with an "activate" ability... and one entirely new Legendary Item as well.
[UPDATE: The graphics files in this package have the extension JPG. However, I accidentally output them in PNG format. I will correct this in the near future, but for now, change the file extension of all graphics to PNG if you are having trouble opening them.]
These cards replace the map tokens in the expansion to provide a more manageable approach to random draw without spreading out tiles on the table (the back of which is the same as that of the Legendary Item tokens). They are also far easier and more organized to store than tokens. The cards even come in two sizes:
--RB standard for those who want all cards the same size.
--Mini-Euro size, for those who want to save a little more space in your player's area, since there's no real need of space for information on them....
Based on Judd "Warbringer25" Jensen's Cities of Adventure urban encounter tables, this package contains graphics for 11 RB sized cards: 9 for the Cities/settlements, 1 Rules Card, and 1 Statistics card. There are now three methods for generating urban encounters based on Judd's original tables each time you enter one of Terrinoth's eight settlements. The cards are more convenient to quickly pass around as needed and small enough to keep stacked table-side during a game.
NOTE: This package was submitted to, and approved by, Judd Jensen before its public release.

This file contains Card backs for the new Island Deck. My assumption is that most people will just print out the front of the cards and use card protectors, but here are card backs for those who want them.
