One player controlling the twenty-four cow pieces attempts to immobilize the two leopard pieces. The leopard player attempts to reduce the number of cows until there are too few to immobilize the leopards.

It is one variant from a family of similar Asian games played with varying numbers of tigers/leopards/goats/cows/etc and varying board topologies. See also Bagh Chal.
