The Republic of Rome is an abstraction of over 250 years of history. It simulates the politics of the Roman Senate during the republic. The players take the part of various factions vying for the control of the senate. They control the various powerful families of the time, who compete for state offices, military command, economic concessions and new adherents. To win the player must get their faction to become the most powerful in Rome. While doing this, however, a balance must be maintained. A hostile world situation, and the vagaries of the public of Rome means that the players must also cooperate so that Rome herself doesn't go down under this pressure. If Rome does not last, neither does the senate, and all players lose!
Six Faction Mats for use with multi~player or solitaire games. Faction titles and info can be used for neutral play or ignored as desired.
Spaces provided for Faction Treasury, Faction Vote Total and Dominance position, as well as for four senators and concession cards.
Instead of moving a Senator card with all its markers, etc. to the Active Wars area, place one of these markers on the War card instead. Print on label paper, stick to thick card stock & trim.
Extra counters for random Legion casualties (when Veterans are in the force), Legate counters and Influence track markers (see companion file). Also a board patch to make the Unrest track run vertically.

En mi grupo de juego encontramos las cajas bastante imprecisas parar marcar los votos de facción (rara vez se ve el número que se pone por delante claramente por detrás, es decir, por la parte que ven los demás jugadores), además de tener que estar mirando cada caja y reteniendo la numeración en mente para hacer nuestras cábalas.
Con un solo vistazo a este tablero, podemos ver rápidamente la situación del senado para sacar cálculos. Sin duda lo encontramos mucho más cómodo. Espero que os guste y resulte tan útil como a nosotros.
