Description Edit | History

Nexus Ops is a light-medium science fiction war game. The game boasts a hexagonal board that is set up differently every time, as well as (in the Avalon Hill edition) cool "glow" miniatures and lots of combat. Players control competing futuristic corporations that battle each other for control of the moon's Rubium Ore. By winning battles and fulfilling Secret Missions, you can obtain victory points.

Units are composed of various alien races and have stats similar to those used in the Axis & Allies series. Combat is also similar. Players who lose battles are compensated with Energize cards which grant them special powers later. Players can also obtain Energize cards by controlling the Monolith, a raised structure in the center of the grid. The first person to reach the required number of victory points wins the game.

0 Regeln, zusammengefasst
Eine A4 Seite. Diese Regel ist für die Avalon / Neolithic edition, ist aber sehr ähnlich zur FFG edition: There is a difference in playing the open-faced "Battle Victory" / "Mission" cards: In FFG edition, you can play one "Battle Victory" and one "Secret Mission: Battle card" per battle. In Avalon edition, you can play one "Mission" or or "Secret Mission" per battle. This is because the FFG "Secret Mission" cards give less victory points.

8 Neolithic Ops - Stand up Paper Minis
This file contains printable stand up paper miniatures for Kwanchai's Neolithic Ops redesign. All you have to do is cut on the black lines, then make 4 folds. One fold at each edge of the colored blocks. They make a double sided stand up mini with a colored base to determine which player they belong to.

4 Sleeved Tuckboxes (FFG recommended sleeves)
- Includes the image files I used to create the tuckbox, mostly from Fantasy Flight Games images on their site. - Print out using NO scaling. Let me know if it doesn't print out right and how you printed it (via browser or an app). - Print preferably on card stock. - For longest lasting protection, cover printed file with clear packing tape, then cut, fold, and tape/glue. Gives it that shiny look too!

7 Fancier 3D printable Monolith
This version is a bit fancier, and the top has been modified so the second edition monolith tile will fit on it. Turns out that 2nd edition tiles are a millimeter or two smaller than those in the 1st edition, so it's a loose fit, and they aren't quite as snug around the base. This could be easily remedied by scaling the model a bit before slicing. As with the earlier one, created with Tinkercad, and the public project is here: https://tinkercad.com/things/7hhMMGO7URZ

2 Monolith model suitable for 3D printing
The original cardboard monolith that came with my 1st edition copy was getting pretty ragged, so I decided to print up a more durable replacement. Assuming it gets approved, there is a pic of the output of my printer (Makefarm Prusa i3, 3mm black PLA, .5mm nozzle, .2mm layers, ~2 hours to print) which shows it fits the tiles perfectly. (It also shows I have some z wobble, and it was under extruding on the top layers...) This model was produced with Tinkercad, and an editable version is available at https://tinkercad.com/things/3pxdZrI9hWh
