Description Edit | History

Warhammer Quest is a role-playing game that does not require a Dungeon Master. It's best with four players, but you can even play it solitaire. The tile-based dungeon is created based on cards drawn from a dungeon deck. Monster occurrence is generated by a roll of the dice based on the type of tile you are on. Monster type is generated from cards. This game comes with a lot of plastic miniatures and high quality components including plastic doorways and glossy dungeon tiles. An adventure book adds a dozen scenarios and an advanced role-playing book is included for the hardcore Dungeon Master. Four Heroes are included in the basic game, with additional ones available for purchase separately.

More Information Edit | History

Hero expansion packs were available, including a metal miniature, reference card, token, and rules booklet. They did NOT include treasure cards for shuffling into the deck. You could use these to allow 5 or more players, or as substitute for original warriors (it's best not to replace the Wizard).

Bretonnian Knight
Chaos Warrior (evil or cursed warrior)
Dwarf Trollslayer (rules were included in main game)
Elf Ranger (includes paths for knight and mage)
Elf Wardancer
Imperial Noble
Pit Fighter
Warrior Priest
Witch Hunter

There were also official characters available through mail order or from White Dwarf magazines (many of these were also published in the old Citadel Journal as well).
Assassin (Deathblow magazine #1)
Druid (Deathblow magazine #2)
Dwarven Brewmaster (Deathblow magazine #2)
Halfling Thief (Deathblow magazine #1 & mail order)
Kislevite Shaman (Deathblow magazine #1 & mail order)
Lord of Aenarion (Deathblow magazine #3)
Ogre (Deathblow magazine #1)
Salty Seadog (Deathblow magazine #2)

0 Character Sheet w/ corrected Combat Chart
The combat charts included on the Character Sheets and in various places in the rulebook have long been at odds with the charts in the Bestiary of the Roleplay Book and on the Advanced Profile cards for each character. Through some serious manipulation of PDF awesomeness, I was able to correct the combat chart on the Character Sheet to match the Bestiary & Advanced Profiles. No more looking up the tables for every monster because the Character Sheet is incorrect. Enjoy!

1 Priest of Morr alternate Warrior by Cpt. Cutlass
My latest creation is an alternate character to take with your band of adventurers on their quests in the dungeons of the Old World. The Priest of Morr is especially good at dealing with undead.

3 Event Deck Emulator
This application attempts to replicate the standard event deck in the Warhammer Quest game in terms of visual appeal and ease of use, while being as expandable as the system of tables found in the Roleplay book. The intention is to minimize wasted time spent hunting through the Roleplay book for tables and stats once the game has progressed past the first level. More info: http://www.binkystick.com/eventdeck/ Event Deck requires the Java Runtime Environment version 5.0 to be installed on your computer. The Java Runtime Environment can be obtained at www.java.com. Please note that I am not the author of this program; I share it here with permission from the original author.
