Ataxx (1988)

Ataxx is a designed by game Dave Crummack and Craig Galley in 1988 as a computer game. Although it is derived from Othello and Reversi, it was never published as a board game.

Today people play via play-by-email servers or against artificial intelligence on various programs that have been written over the years.

This game can be played with an Othello/Reversi set using only the 7x7 area rather than the standard 8x8 area.
