This is an expansion for Civilization. Included are more civilization advancements (both quantity and type), which give the players new options for advancement, as well as a slightly restructured commodity trading round, which has new resources and disasters to be traded. The most significant aspect of the game is a restructuring of the advancement/victory conditions, which removes the limits on advancement cards. Some claim this makes the strategies more homogenous, while others claim the reverse is true.
The use of the word "Advanced" to describe this expansion is somewhat misleading. The original Civilization game was already time-consuming and moderately difficult, and the expansion is a reworking of the original game, rather than an additive expansion. Some rules simplify and make the game easier, while other rules like the expanded technology tree are more complex.
This is a cut down version of the 10 player variant map published by Jon G - www.civiboard.com. My group has found this version to be a very good map for 7 players. Starting areas = Sparta, Athens, Corinth, Illyria, Minoa, Sardes and Miletos.
Allows to keep track of cumulative civilisation cards bonuses to not forget them on a given card when purchasing and facilitates calculating final score.
This is a vectorized map to replace/complement the original map panels including the western expansion map. It’s upped as a PDF so you can print it in any size you like, but it is optimized for A0 printout (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_size) using cmyk colours (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cmyk). In this size the original cards and tokens fit nicely in their designated spaces. The map is inspired (heavily) by Jean-Philippe Guissets and Michael J. Schneiders excellent work. Although basically everything has been redone. Several enhancements to readability has been done Although based on the “real world map” several coastlines and borders have been slightly modified to better accommodate game play. (Try playing in Greece without modifying the borders and moving a few islands...

Created through much tedious effort from a board image found on the net!
Vectorized with MS PowerPoint, converted to Adobe PDF. You can print this out at *any* size with no loss of detail (I've used 71"x40", the size of my gaming table). This is big enough to comfortably fit counters in every region.
Provided here are the PPT, PDF and GIF files.
Second corrected version of the previously uploaded file, which somehow lost two flood plains.
