This was previously published as a Print and Play game but designer Riedel (who did the delightfully head hurting Old Town) is releasing a nive version of this!

Each year the young and old meet in East Frisia at the Ostfriesenlauf, in order to determine the fastest Ostfriesen!
Gotham Race would probably be the title if published in English as the Ostfriesen are rather dimwitted - according to the other Germans.
The game is a silly race in which these dimwitted persons sometimes run the wrong way around the track!
The cards are separated according to color into 4 piles from which each player may draw 5 cards of any color.
Each player plays 1 card per turn face down in a pile in the order of last player to first player according to the placing on the track. When all have played card are they turned over and dealt with in the order played.
Depending on the color of the card will the instructions move one of the pawns forward or backwards (4th place is red, 3rd is blue etc.) so the player must foresee where his character will be in the race at the time his card is used.
