Description Edit | History

Players vie for control of six railroads in Argentina. A deck of cards (3 Offer Stock, 4 Develop Settlements, 5 Construct Track) is used each round to determine player actions. The deck is passed to the left and an action taken until there is just one action card type left in the deck. Dividends are then paid (based on railroad value and total number of shares), and a new round is started. The game lasts for nine rounds, at which time a final payoff is made based on value, income, and actual shares sold. There are only 5 shares of each railroad available, with the money from the stock purchase going into the railroad treasury. Also, all track construction must be paid for out of railroad treasuries, and the track is drawn along pre-defined routes using plastic crayons. Settlements are developed using player funds, which in turn increases the income available to a railroad. The player with the most money after the final payoff wins.

The fourth game in the Prairie Railroads Series.

1 Shares Deckbox
For Verkisto's version of the shares (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/file/info/33572) that are printed onto cardstock and laminated. Used Michael Webb's image (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/156589) for the cover.

16 Replacement Stock Certificates
Following my recreation of the stock certificates for Wabash Cannonball, I found an old Argentine stock certificate image and colored the image to match the various companies in Pampas Railroads. The only company I didn't match to the game colors was Cordoba; brown just looked crummy, so I made them white instead.

1 PNG Income, value, action track with player aid v1.3
Replaces the income chart and action cards from the base game. Use coloured cubes (eg from Wabash Cannonball) to track company incomes, company values and actions used/available. Also has a simple player aid and a larger/bolder location value key. This is the bitmap version for easier printing on localised paper sizes than the US-letter sized PDF. Updated and corrected: version: 1.3
