Racetrack is a paper and pencil game of unknown origins which simulates a car race in an abstract manner.

Racetrack is played on a sheet of square graph paper on which a track is drawn. Each turn a player draws the movement vector for his or her car - it can differ from the previous move's vector by only a certain amount (e.g., 2 squares total). A fair amount of planning is therefore necessary in order to negotiate curves safely.

1 Racetrack Special moves
These are special moves for Racetrack and rules for using the gravel bed. I would recommend to use the special moves on a limited bases, just negotiate which move can be performed how often. I am currently thinking of a card-deck distribution so that i can order an Artscow deck someday... You would get a couple of cards and if you want you could use a special move by discarding that card. Not sure at the moment if/how you would get more cards in the game... have fun with these!

4 Racetrack Rules and Grid
This file is intended to be a self-contained version of Racetrack with the game rules on one sheet and a grid on the other. Print the file on a single sheet of paper (2-sided) and laminate. Multiple racetracks/races may then be played using dry erase markers.
