Scene It? - Harry Potter takes the mechanic of the base Scene It? - Movie game and specializes to Harry Potter movie trivia.

As in previous versions of Scene It? - Movie games, the players select pawns and move along a board answering trivia questions. There are three categories of questions on the question cards, and there are many categories of questions on the DVD which includes clips from the Harry Potter movies (including Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).
