There are six basic variants to the Hole game:
The first is Depenz - The Emotional Intelligence Game, a game where communication skills count more than tactics or luck, for 7½ years and up.
The second is called Walk like a Zombie, not recommended for self-concious adults as it involves just what its name indicates. For 5 to 10 year-olds.
The third is Black Money and is a simple trading game for 7 to 12 year-olds.
The fourth is Blood Money, a variant of Black Money. For 8 to 13 year-olds.
The fifth is The Heart of the Hole, the pure negotiators' game. For 14 years and up.
And the sixth is The Other Hole, an adult game where the negotiations have no limits.
Each of these versions can incorporate the figure of "the Zombie" who chases players around the board, giving rise to six further versions.
There are three versions of the board:
1) Red Hole, the volcanic island adventure, where coming out of the volcano alive literally depends on the loyalty and comradeship of your fellow adventurers.
2) Black Hole, an adventure across space to a black hole and back.
3) Blue Hole, a deep sea adventure off the coast of Belize.
There are thus twelve variants to the Hole game and three different board versions to date giving thirty-six different playing experiences in one game!
