SPQR (Deluxe Edition) is a re-working of the classic GMT game of warfare in the age of the Roman Republic, out of print for many years now. The deluxe edition contains the five scenarios, maps and counters from the original SPQR, plus nine additional scenarios (and the requisite maps and counters) taken from various expansion modules. This major revision makes available again a key part of the brilliant Great Battles of History Series.

Sending files to an old project on the battle of Trasimene, 217 BC.
The GMT, for business reasons, will not publish such a scenario, so I decided to offer this little work to lovers of the system.
The optional rule on the reinforcement of the Roman cavalry was suggested by Dan Fournie.
The file is in Italian, but the placings and the optional rules are easy to understand. In any case, I'm preparing an English translation.
I assume all responsibility for imperfections.

Updated file now includes Barbarian scenarios. This is the updated version (V.2) of all SPQR Scenarios, from the SPQR Deluxe Edition game, all C3i Magazines up to #25, the Players Guide and now including the scenarios from the Barbarians module in order of year the battle occured.
This zip file contains PDF and Excel files for the unofficial GBoH Competition Play rules and army/leader lists I designed back in 1996 (which is why the version number is 1996).
The Excel files contain all the formulas needed so players may update this list as they wish. I will not be maintaining this list.
The GBoH has a different ruleset for each Module. But many of the rules are the same. This chart is meant to summerise those "finer points" that I often get confused between the modules Alexander, SPQR and Caesar:Conquest of Gaul. Hopefully you will find this helpful as you alternate your play between these Modules. v1.1 More added courtesy of Ralph Shelton
