Mutant Chronicles Collectible Miniatures Game (2008)

54mm scale science fiction collectible miniatures game released in 2 player starter packs and booster packs. Mutant Chronicles is set in the far future of our own solar system, where Mega-corporations battle each other as well as a dark invader. Power-armored doom troopers, magic, and monsters mix in this exciting dark future space-fantasy setting.

On June 27, 2008, Fantasy Flight Games Announced that this game will no longer be released in a blind-purchase format. On April 9, 2009, Fantasy Flight Games Announced that they will discontinue this game.

MSRP for the Mutant Chronicles Starter Pack (for 2-players) is $29.95 and includes 6 fixed figures, dice, cards, tokens, rulebook, and a map. The Warpacks have a MSRP of $19.95 and contain anywhere from two to four fixed figures based on the faction chosen which can be seen through the packaging. This is a change from the original "Blind Box" packaging originally intended for the game. Gameplay involves the use of Gold, Silver, or Bronze order (tokens) to determine actions as well as Command Cards to enhance unit abilities.

Each of the game's four factions offers a unique approach to battle: The Algeroth are powerful hand-to-hand brawlers, The Bauhaus Megacorporation's balanced and methodical abilities make them one of the most well-rounded factions, The Brotherhood rely on their faith-based powers and excellent melee skills to survive in the harsh conflict, and finally, the Capitol Megacorporation are unpredictable mobile combatants that can can change tactics rapidly and on the fly, making them hard to pin down.
