"Without teamwork, you will never survive. Without betrayal, you’ll never win."
Cutthroat Caverns is played over 9 rounds, each with a random encounter. Essentially a game of 'kill stealing'. Each round, any monster encountered will have a prestige value of 1 through 6. The player that successfully jockeys for position and lands the killing blow gets the prestige value for the encounter. Some encounters will not have a specific monster, such as a trap room for the heroes to pass through (and in this case, earning no prestige). The surviving player with the most prestige after the 9 encounters is the winner. If the players do not survive all 9 encounters, no one wins the game.
A unique combination of cooperative game play and opportunistic backstabbing.
Here is a character card for Cutthroat you can customize with your own character art. It is a layered photoshop file. if you don't have photoshop, a pdf is also available.
Cutthroat Cavern's first fan made free downloadable Adventure Module. This module requires the "Relics & Ruins" Expansion Pack to play. This is only version 1.1, so expect some small grammatical errors. Have fun!

A unique encounter created for the 2009 Gamer's Reunion Cutthroat Cavern's tournament. The "Dread Gazebo" is based off of the infamous RPG story about a confused Player and a small decorated building in a quiet garden.
This is the current wording of all the important cards in the 2.0 printed version of the game. None of the rules have changed, but the cards and interactions should be far clearer.
This file contains translation of all the card texts from the base game and the first expansion (Deeper and Darker) needed to play the game. I have included the additional monsters made available on the Web.
