Description Edit | History

Through the shattered ruins of a quaint European village, to the scorched sands of North Africa, and on the deadly beaches of a mist-shrouded Pacific Island, Valor & Victory puts you in command of the troops and machines that fought across the battlefields of World War II.

Valor & Victory is a fast playing, easy to learn World War II squad-level game system. V&V gets you into the action quickly without requiring you to learn a lot of minutia and unnecessary detail. But don't let that fool you — Valor & Victory is a complete WWII wargaming system, covering infantry and armored combat, artillery and air strikes, snipers, close assaults, armored overruns, fortifications, and much more!

Valor & Victory may be easy to learn, but it's challenging and fun. So whether you're looking for an evening of serious wargaming action, or simply a quick battle at lunch, Valor & Victory delivers — without draining you, your time... or your wallet!

5 Valor & Victory, average AP CP inflicted 1.0
Table for average amount of inflicted CPs in the AP combat. Dice modifiers ranging from +2 to -2 are calculated for each different range of APFP. For example, at 1-4 range with a -1 modifier you may expect almost the same amount of average casualties as at 11-18 range but with a +1 modifier. I made the table just to get a grip of the average "deadliness" of an attack. A simple 4Cas*1/36+3Cas*2/36+2Cas*3/36+1Cas*4/36 -style formula was used.

11 Crossroads (V&V map, version 1.0)
Crossroads map for Valor & Victory. European theatre (Eastern or West fronts) spring through fall. Orchards, trees and farmland, hedges, a small river, along with a small crossroads village. Building hexes in I3 and I4 are considered road hexes for movement if units are moving directly along the road. Consider the hexes Building terrain if units are entering from other directions. These hexes are considered Building hexes for all combat. K4 is swamp. Players can decide if the farmland fields are considered open fields or crops. Update: Re-saved as a high-resolution JPG file at 11 x 17" (tabloid *new*) size, but other formats available on request. File size is also now a bit smaller. Set your colour printer to print this on tabloid paper and you're good to go. I will be...
