Gunfight at Tombstone (Legends of the Far West) (2007)

"Gunfight at Tombstone" uses 8 high quality, huge miniatures (54 mm) to recreate the famous wild west shooting, so its high cost.

Each player controls one side (lawmen or outlaw in an 8 player game) with four cowboys each.
Each gunmen has his own and unique stats (drawing, movement, health, and hidden dice=shooting skill) and special abilities (re-rolls, cancel other abilities, improved shooting ranges...). The game uses some of the liars dice poker mechanics, you have to make the best hand possible to win your opponent and to pass a minimum hand depending on distance and covers, otherwise the shoot is lost. Unlike poker you don´t bet money but the bullets of your revolver or rifle. Depending on the bullets bet you make more or less damage. Movement and covers, ranges, team play, wise special ability using, and bullet administration-reload are crucial tactics to win the game.

A fast game and very easy to learn if you can play poker. A very original and unusual playable diorama.
