Sticks & Stones is a game about warfare in the late Stone Age. Each player arms his warriors, as he sees fit, with stone axes, spears, bows, or just bare hands. Trained dogs, dependents, herds of domesticated animals, goods, and village raids, ritualized battles, migrations, and the beginnings of true warfare between more powerful villages. A special solitaire scenario allows a single player to command a group of hunters attempting to kill a mastodon. Optional rules provide for the use of fire and poisoned weapons.

Sticks & Stones team creator tool, Version 1.0

When playing a scenario in Sticks & Stones, you are given a certain number of People Points and Weapon Points. You use these to create your team of cavemen and dogs, each type of warrior having different weapon point values. In addition, you may convert people points to weapon points. Thus, creating a team of cavemen can be a lot of paperwork. This program/game aid lets you type in numbers for each type of warrior/dog and the numbers are automatically calculated for you, and show you how many people and weapon points you have remaining. Try various combinations with the stroke of a key, and create the optimal fighting force in a fraction of the time. Then go plunder and loot or kill those mammoths!
