Description Edit | History

A flexible, fast-playing set of miniatures rules. An army consists of 12 units (called "elements"), classified as Blades, Warband, Knights and so forth. The rules are very simple (and can actually fit on one sheet of paper) but nevertheless pretty effective.
The Fantasy version is Hordes of the Things, and the De Bellis Multitudinis rules add more detail and significantly increase army size.
De Bellis Renationis extends the time period through the end of the Renaissance (1700 AD) and Horse, Foot and Guns covers the period from 1701 to 1915.

0 GELIDIS-2
Part 2 of the GELIDIS rules has all the movement and combat rules, for each troop type, grouped together. The commander of knights or elephants or war wagons now needeth not to hunt through rulebook - everything relevant on one page is.

0 GELIDIS-1
Only the part of DBA rules needed for someone to _sit down and play_ - the army lists, terrain setting up procedure, figure basing, etc, is left out. Formatted to be printed on 8.5x11 paper, in 12-point-type, lines broken to help make Mr. Barker's grammar understandable and easier to read. 1 universal paper army template
v.4.0 minor housekeeping, added shoot representation on war wagon and added HOTT units! v.2.0 tweaked so that all units and extras get printed out in the print safe area and combat factors darkened up so that they print legibly. v. 1.0 this is a PSD file that can be edited in photoshop or free apps like GIMP. it basically contains EVERY dba unit (if you take away names, there are only like 21 of them) on the correct base size and allows you to quickly setup and print your army by hiding and showing the correct layers. sounds harder than it is. anyway, it is completely free for your enjoyment, modification (for dbm or hott or whatever). enjoy!

3 Reverse Combat Results Table
This is a combat results table sorted by winning element type, rather than by losing as in the one in the rulebook.
