Players arrange their cards on the playing surface building “hills.” Once a hill gets five cards high, the sixth card will cause an “Avalanche” and that player must take all of the cards in the row, leaving the sixth card to start a new hill. This is the re-themed version of 6 Nimmt!
For now, 'Slide 5' will remain separate from 6 Nimmt!, in an effort to better separate editions of games in the database. As 6 Nimmt! is the only game that can be played with the 6 Nimmt! expansions, it should be separated (and Category 5 should also be separated from it). For now they will remain separated from one another, because it is always easier to combine than it is to separate data.
Feb. 2010 Looks like Category 5 and 6 Nimmt! have been combined. Will this one stay separated because it's not horns or hurricanes?
If you purchased the Slide 5/Cheater tin, but only wanted Slide 5, it's somewhat inconvenient. This fits the cards snugly, though it may be a tad tight if you put the rules in as well.
