Fast playing game on the First Battle of Sidi Rezegh, running from November 19 to 24, 1941. The first offering in the Corps Command system.
Units are battalions and regiments, turns are a day.
The heart of the game is the initiative system. Players' initiative rolls determine not only which units will activate, but also how far they can move. There is a difficult choice between activating a large force but moving slowly and moving a small force quickly.
The mechanics are clean and complexity is low. The intent is that two players new to the game and system can play an entire match in an evening.
Components: 88 5/8" counters, a 17"x22" mounted map, a player aid and a short rulebook.
