New rules include Formations, Single-Nation Armies, Special Units, Overwatch Fire, Enfilade Fire, and Grazing Fire, plus modified rules for Anti-Aircraft Fire and Defensive Fire.

New maps are also included, compatible with the maps from the 1939-1945 and later editions.
