Schaska (1973)

One of a series of Ravensburger's travel series of games. This is a movement race with players moving their pawns in opposite directions on the track, which is formed from random tiles.
The other Traveller-Series games are Reversi, Isola, 3x16, Banda, Quadrata, & Go + Gobang.

Not all of these games are made the same way.On some of the pictures, from boxes and game,you see that the number 8 is not always on the same spot.With those games you couldn't play fair.
There are 5 moveable pieces. So every game is differend.
There are 6 times a nummber 8 on this pieces. Meaning: if your pawn is on this spot you can move 8 places ahead. But you can never place the pieces in a fair way. It's 4 times 8 for one player and then ofcourse 2 times 8 for the other, or 6 times 8 for one player and none for the other.So if you want to play it fair you have to play 2 games with the same board.One time black on one side and white on the other. The second time the other way around.
