Description Edit | History

Formissimo is composed of 3 series of 32 cards. Each card has a drawing characterized by : a color (blue or red), a size (small or large), a form (round or square), a quantity ( one or two), a sign (crossed or not crossed).

Each players receive a hidden card and 30 charts are spread out face visible on the center of the table.
At the signal, each one turns its card which constitutes its beginning of pile and tries to pile up other cards there by respecting the principle that each new card must present 0 or 1 difference with the preceding card.

When a player thinks he can't take anymore cards, he shouts "Stop!". The round stops and each player card stack is checked.
A player who was mistaken loses all the cards piled up in this turn, if not, he wins them.
The player who stopped the round has a particular treatment: if it were not mistaken, it gains an additional card. If he stopped the round whereas he could still play, he loses all the cards gained up to now.
