Careers (2003)

Careers is a game where players choose their own set of conditions for winning the game. They then go about the board earning money, fame, and happiness to be the first to achieve their own success formula. Various career paths are available to provide exciting ways to make the race for success quicker (or sometimes more disastrous!), and Degrees, Opportunities, and Experience help players to get a jump on the competition.

This updated, 2003 version retains much from its previous versions, but has some notable differences include:

Modern Look
Board has a bright, cheery color scheme and patterns, as well as a more ‘freehand’, ‘relaxed’ appearance and layout.

More Modern Theme
Several career paths have been changed from previous versions, like from Hollywood to Entertainment, from Ecology to Conservation, from Going To Sea to Teaching, and Space to Medical Research to better reflect the 2000s.

Cosmetic Changes
There are different colored pawns and different designs on the cards, money, and scorepad.

Changes To Game
The deck of cards that comprise of Opportunity, Experience, and Degrees are different in distribution and/or content. Certain areas of the board have their spots either reordered or changed in content.
