Like PANZERBLITZ before it, LUFTWAFFE evolved from one of the early SPI prestige games called TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH. Although it never really stood the hobby on its ear in the manner of a PANZERBLITZ, it remains a consistently good seller to this day—testimony to the importance of a dynamic title and box cover.
"Tactical Level Luftwaffe: Combat Resolution at a More Vivid Scale" by Kenneth Erbey from the GENERAL Vol.18 No.4 is a great addition to AH's Luftwaffe. However, you have to make your own map layout. I have done just this and I would like to share it with other Luftwaffe gamers.
Not sure if you have all your counters? Here is a Counter Manifest of the Luftwaffe counters. All primary counters are counted for. I didn't list the "Substitute Counters" or "Blank Counters". Here is a PDF format of the Luftwaffe Counter Manifest. At 9K, this file is also much smaller in size than the RTF file.
