The Corporate War

Players' build the Sprawl city with Sprawl Cells while fighting over control of those Cells by deploying Corporate Samurai and Hover-bikers. Neurohackers are also used by owning the Matrix to provide advantage in battle and add points at the endgame. Control markers are used to convert ownership of Cells like in the game of Go. There are four Sprawl-wide Events that can occur which include Terrorists Nuke, Mass Rioting, the Nemesis Mecha, and a Net Plague. There are two versions of Cell, Cell and Cell: Prime. Cell: Prime is the Beta version and and is available for free as a print-and-play product online.

Cell is due to be released by end of 2009. Cell: Prime Beta has been released.

Join the action with the Cell: Prime card game and the ongoing written story of Dirtgirl, an exotic covert operative. The following page is the heart of the Blak Universe; a web portal to high adventure:

More Information Edit | History

It is the Year 2045.

I don't know how much longer I have. The North American States have seceded from UN membership and the national army sits idle while blood flows in the streets.

The Sprawl cities exist as corporate forts. Towering arcology Cells built by blood and money are shelter for the masses and a warground for gangsoldier armies of the Mass Corporations. Food is scarce and violence is cheap. Many young people desperate in an economy that rewards only the CEO join the hover-bike gangs, hack the neuronet, or become the shadowy combat operatives known as Corporate Samurai. These are the minions of the Mass Corporate.

Corporations compete to control the Sprawl market and the profitable information neuronet known as the Matrix. As the Sprawl grows so will the market network and the Mass Corporation with the longest and stronger of Cell networks will be victor. Long has man built and grown in space but many will never even see the stars once through the choking smog.

Those of us who remember how it used to be weep as we watch from our fortified and hidden apartments. I'm tired of junk food.

Lord save us from our future.
