"Qwitch: the Quick-Switch Game" is one of the publisher's Fun to Go series of cardgames. In this tin are 64 cards displaying both numbers (1-8) and letters (A-H), plus 12 directional cards (up, down, or equal). All number/letter cards are dealt out evenly and a single card placed in the center of the table. Directional cards are stacked with the top card showing, which will determine in what sequence the players will add to the stack. Each player draws a hand of 5 cards from their draw pile. Then without taking turns, players race to play cards onto the central pile, as indicated by the direction card (higher, lower or equal to). When any player empties their hand of all five cards, play pauses and a new direction card is revealed. Everyone draws back up to five cards, and play resumes. When a player is completely out of cards (both hand and draw pile) he or she is the winner. Rules for ages 7-9 have the players going in turn rather than simultaneously, being allowed to pass if they can't play.
