In the beginning there is War for Edaðh - a game of battle - but as it expands it becomes a siege, a chase, gladiatorial combat, spy vs. spy, tunnel warfare, a magic duel, a campaign, a quest and many other games.
Play each game individually, string games together in scenarios, add characters, play as a campaign, play as an RPG.
Join the Legion of Edaðh where your games become tales that can become legends. Organized Play. Tournaments. Play in Edaðh itself - your games create its history, become its tales, become its legends.
In the base game - War for Edaðh - cards represent the troops, leaders, standards, terrain and all aspects of the battle. Cards are also used in the core mechanic of the game which is a unique, tactical system. This mechanic, Conflict Resolution, places the outcome of each fight and battle in your hands - your decisions and choices alone will determine your success or failure.
Conflict Resolution simulates a fight. In a fight you pit your skill and experience against your opponent. You read his moves, try to outsmart him and make a winning attack. With Conflict Resolution you do the same. Yet it is simple to learn and play, but like all good strategy games will always offer a challenge.
Added expansions offer more games beyond a battle to play but using the same cards you already have and with Conflict Resolution at the core.
War for Edaðh can be played in a variety of ways and expanded rules can be added when you like to give all the depth you would expect from a battle game.
