Description Edit | History

This game takes place in the 4th century BC in the renowned civilization of Tartessos, in southern Iberia, During these times the Tartessians were ruled by the legendary king Arganthonios.
Each player will take the role of an Aristoi, a wealthy noble ruling over lands and villages where craftsmen, farmers and stockbreeders lived.
The goal of the game is to achieve the highest recognition by collecting luxury items that will increase the Aristoi’s social prestige. These items were mainly obtained by exchanging with the Phoenician traders the products and commodities the Aristois obtained through their lands and workers.
The game finishes as soon as the Tartessian culture is absorbed by Carthage. At that given time only the most educated and wealthy Aristoi will survive –namely, the ones with the most luxury items in their possession.

The game is played in a series of rounds. Each round has three major phases, with some additional trading and taxing phases.
The three main phases are:
- Auctioning occupations and lands
- Collecting commodities and products
- Auctioning luxury items
