Description Edit | History

From the publisher:

Android is a board game of murder and conspiracy set in a dystopian future. Detectives travel between the city of New Angeles and moon colony Heinlein chasing down leads, calling in favors, and uncovering the sinister conspiracy beneath it all. The detectives must balance their pursuit of the murderer against their personal lives and their inner demons. Android’s innovative mechanics ensure that no two detectives play alike. Will you play as Louis Blaine, the crooked cop tormented by guilt and loss? Or will you take the role of Caprice Nisei, the psychic clone who struggles to retain her sanity while proving that she’s as human as anyone else? Whoever you choose to play, you’ve got just two weeks to solve the murder, uncover the conspiracy, and face your personal demons.

3 ANDROID, a true detective story variant
The aim of this variant is to remove the hunch card mechanic in favor of a system that feel more like real detective work. The detectives must arrest the guilty suspect or protect the innocent suspect. Furthermore, the conspiracy is more related to the murder case.

6 Android: The Director's Cut - Alternate Plots
A series of alternate plots to be used in a game of Android. Retaining the same storylines as the original plots but changing the baggage conditions, these plots are fully compatible with the existing twilight decks and can be played either with the base rules or The Director's Cut alternate rules. Enjoy!

31 Android: The Director's Cut v2.1
The latest version of The Director's Cut alternate rules! These rules address many of the disparities between theme and gameplay in a game of Android, including rules to: * Turn the murder into a true deductive experience (with a "real" murderer). * Extensive rule changes for the conspiracy, to make the placement of every tile worthwhile, reduce the overpowered nature of the conspiracy overall and eliminate the unthematic 5-in-a-row rules. * Allow each investigator to experience their game "day" concurrently rather than consecutively (and reduce downtime). * Adjust how dark cards are drawn and played to be more in theme with what is happening on the board. * Give NPCs more involvement in the unfolding story and allow some characters to "crossover" into another detective's story....

9 Plot Overlays (with icons instead of text)
These are a series of overlays I have designed using my meager Photoshop skills. They replace the tiny text on the plot cards with large icons that can be seen more easily across the table (so no more asking "what do I need to do to give you bad baggage again?"). Just place the plot card into a fully transparent card sleeve with the matching overlay on each side. When the plot comes into play, you can temporarily pull the real card out to read the flavour text and conditions, then replace it so that opponents (and yourself) can more easily see the baggage conditions. As always, GeekGold tips gratefully accepted. Enjoy! This is an updated version with the error on Floyd's "I will do my duty" plot corrected.

8 Android Game Logbook
Greetings fellow Investigators, Attached you will find a Logbook for your Android investigation. Print the first page (cover) on card stock material. After printing, fold the cover sheet in half and set aside. Print the other log pages and fold in half. Print no more than 9 pages for the interior pages. After printing, insert the log pages into the cover sheet and staple. You will need the long-reach stapler or go to your local office store for stapling. Now, armed with a logbook designed specifically for Android you can record each game. After scoring - logging your criminal data simply placed the booklet with the game. Each time you pull the game out, you have this logbook. I hope you enjoy this booklet! Doug
