Cobra is a regimental/divisional scale simulation of the allied break-out from the Normandy peninsula in the summer of 1944, which culminated in the encirclement of some 160,000 German troops in the "Falaise Pocket." Each game-turn is equivalent to three days of real time, and each hex represents a distance (across) of 3.2 kilometers.
Second published (in Japanese) in Six Angles in 2007 (as part of the SPI retrospective). [Note: this version is based on SPI's version, not TSR's. It has New Map and New Units. A Mini Game that treats the Normandy landing operation (1944/6/6-1944/6/12) is also included.]
A scenario for Cobra for D+1 that allows a consistent and historical start to the Cobra D-Day add-on without the a-historical vagaries that tend to happen with the landing rules. Unit locations historically researched as to location and strength at morning of D+1.
