Description Edit | History

Players become a powerful convective thunderstorm known as a super-cell, and struggle to collect readings that will lead to the "perfect storm", one capable of generating a sizable tornado. To generate a perfect storm, players need strongly divergent conditions on the ground and the atmosphere. Storms need warm moist air on the ground, cool dry air aloft, and wind shear in the storm column that prevents the cooling downdraft from shutting off the warm and moist inflowing air. The most powerful storms have the lowest air pressure. Will you generate the Perfect Storm?

5 Perfect Storm tiles to build the storm
The tiles are all in a pdf file. Print each page on full label sticky paper and adhere both sides (so each layer is doouble sided) of each level to thick cardstock (like a comic book back). Then cut them out. You can lay each tile on a table next to each other and start playing. To add more theme, make a thick pencil holder out of Fimo and punch each layer with a pencil in the center, so they can all stand on top of each other like in a real storm. Taking the layers off so you can flip them throughout the game is a fiddly, but I think its worth it. Hold the Fimo storm tower steady as you rotated the different layers to make sure the nonagons point where they need to pointing. Have Fun!
