Description Edit | History

Players work in teams in this edition of Trivial Pursuit. The game consists of four rounds of six types of questions: Multiple Choice, Name Six, Go for Broke, Reference, More or Less, and "Are You the Expert?". Instead of answers simply being right or wrong, answers are worth 1 to 6 points, depending on how correct the answer is or whether it was answered correctly on the first try. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Game Contents

  • Gameboard
  • Two pieces, one black and one white
  • Card holder
  • Card holder stand
  • 12 packs of 30 cards (360 total)
  • 30 customizable cards

Description

This card-based variant of Trivial Pursuit is designed to be shorter than the original, with players dividing into teams, playing four rounds, and scoring points based on their performance.

There are six different types of questions on the cards:

Multiple Choice

More points are awarded the earlier you get the correct answer

Are You the Expert?

Additional points are awarded if one team member can answer alone.

Reference Point

Three questions are based on a given connection. Points are awarded for each question.

Name Six

Given a category, name things from that category, with one point awarded for each.

More or Less

Teams are given a choice of an easy or difficult question, with the points awarded reflecting the difficulty.

Go for Broke

Teams answer five true or false questions, in an all or nothing push your luck style. Answer all five and get a bonus point.

Each pack of cards is a game, and includes a scoring card so the game can be taken on the road by just placing a deck in the holder and leaving the board at home.
