Translating as "By the Width of a Tire," this game covers a Tour de France-type of bicycle race. Each player takes control of a four-member racing team, and the goal is to score as many points as possible for the whole team. Movement is primarily handled by dice, however a limited card set partially replaces die results. Once you add unique rules which allow riders to draft one another and multiple kinds of road surfaces, this game has much to offer race fans.

Published in 1991 was the more widely held reprint (Jumbo also produced a Dutch edition called Demarrage!).

Homas Tour is the original edition of the cycle racing game later known as Um Reifenbreite. Many copies of the original game were destroyed in a warehouse fire in 1979. The combination of its sudden rarity and recognition as a good game meant that Homas Tour was (and is) very desirable, particularly to collectors. Everyone else can save their money and enjoy Um Reifenbreite!

De PRO regels werken SOLO prima voor klassiekers (zie de "Um Reifenbreite PRO regels"), maar voor etappekoersen moeten er wat dingen worden aangepast. Als je solo tegen 4 neutrale ploegen speelt, dan moeten de neutrale renners uitgerust worden met wat artificiële intelligentie, of in ieder geval wat voordelen hebben die ervoor zorgen dat SOLO etappekoersen een uitdaging worden voor de menselijke speler!

1 PRO rules for SOLO stage races
The PRO rules for classics work just fine as they are (see "Um Reifenbreite PRO rules"), but for stages races a few adaptations are necessary. When playing solo against 4 neutral teams, the neutral riders need some sort of artificial intelligence, or at least some advantages which make solo stage races a challenge for the human player!

Imprime las páginas 1 y 3 (anverso y reverso) en un trozo de cartulina A4 (por las 2 caras); luego, las páginas 2 y 3 en otra cartlina A4. Comprueba que la cartulina recortada a tamaño A4 mida exactamente 21 cm de ancho (muchos folios A4 miden 21,2 cm), sino saldrá descentrada.
