Description Edit | History
The object is simple: move two pieces into your opponent's goal or eliminate all of your opponent's pieces. In a matter of minutes, you'll learn the moves. The Jump. The Capture. And the Power Play. The rest is up to you. Make your moves courageously or cautiously. But always be on guard. One move can quickly change the entire complexion of the game.

Chivalry was first self-published by George S. Parker in 1888 and he called it his favorite game.

In 1930 it was scaled down, re-named Camelot and published by Parker's company, Parker Brothers.

Cam is a further scaled-down version of Chivalry that first appeared in 1949.
Difference in play of Cam and Camelot lies largely in the lesser number of squares and playing pieces, and the capture of an enemy castle with one piece instead of two (from the rule booklet).

It seems that this game may have influenced Alex Randolph in his game Ghosts!

More Information Edit | History

Chivalry was published in 1887 by Geo. S. Parker & Co, and in 1888 by Parker Brothers.

Chivalry had a bigger board and more pieces than Camelot.

Current World Camelot Federation rules of Camelot (http://www.worldcamelotfederation.com/Camelot_Rules.htm) define one of the objects of the game as capturing ALL of the opponent's pieces while retaining two or more of your own.
