Tikal is a game of exploration within the Central American jungles in search of lost temples and the treasures within. Players send their team of explorers into the jungle, exposing more and more of the terrain. Along the way, you find temples that require further uncovering and treasures. Players attempt to score points for occupying temples and holding onto treasure.
Tikal - Rules Summary, version 1.0
This documents contains a summary of all of the rules of the game. Print it out (I prefer double sided), laminate it and slip it into the box. The rules are already pretty simple and the player aids help, but I find this document helps clear up questions easily. It incorporates information from the FAQ, especially dealing with the last scoring turn.
Note: it does not include the Auction Version, which our group doesn't use.
File contains the rules to be able to play Tikal in a solo environment. There are 3 skill levels included and numerous diagrams and examples to get you into the variant a little quicker.
This file is #35 in the SoloPlay series.

This is two game mates for Tikal that has a place for all the round tiles, temple tiles and treasure pices. It is also designed to make game play easier by having the by having a place each letter specific round tile as well as a place for each round specific treasure tile listed on the mat.
Here's a 2/3 size variant of Tikal that seems to work pretty well. Gives you the same essential gameplay but only 2/3 of the length, so it doesn't wear out its welcome.
