Squad-level infantry and individual tanks, artillery, and aircraft form the Tip of the Spear, or Spearpoint, of the battle. Each 20-30 minute game is one intense card-based combat engagement.

Frontline General: Spearpoint 1987 is a modern (cold war, 1987-based) variant from designer Jim Day (MBT, IDF, etc.) using the same basic system. It is not compatible with the 1943-based Spearpoint games but uses the same core mechanics.
Situation IX is a bonus situation for Spearpoint 1943 developed by the game's designer. In this situation, a German force attempts to hold a static objective - an Italian airfield they control. The Germans must use the airfield to their advantage, staging and scrambling multiple fighters to fend off approaching US forces.
Here are the eight starting Suggested Decks from the designer, reduced to a size that will fit back in the original box. Just cut along the lines. You could use card stock or normal stock if you want to save even more room.
