This is a issue game of "Wargame Japanese History #3".
1 half map
80 large counters (20mm)
30 cards
6 pages rulebook
2 dice
The map covers the middle part of Japan from Osaka to Sendai.
This game strongly reflects the viewpoint of TV series "Ten-chi-jin". So that, the map covers the important North Eastern areas of Uesugi and Date.
The gamesystem is basically card-driven.
Because of the magazine's philosophy and designer's philosophy, the rule is simple and with very small amount of exception and special rule.
Though East-side (Ieyasu) leads the situation, if West-side can dominates the western part of the map, they'll get Hideyori Toyotomi on the battlefield and recover the situation. I think that this is due to the fact that "Ten-chi-jin" describes the battle from the viewpoint of Mitsunari Ishida, West-side coordinator. This viewpoint makes this game fresh among many Sekigahara battle games.
